What is CLIMBOS?
Climbos aims to build up a worldwide climbing topo’s guide, which will not only be available on your PC, but also right at the place on your mobile, where you need it most.Climbos is a social climbing topo app, now you can share your passion with others. Create routes with our mobile phone application and share it. Rock climbing, mountaineering, ice, mix, boulder and via ferrata in one place.
How does it work?
Login – you can create your own login or use Facebook one.You take a picture shot with climbos; add all the details like name, grade, route type, length and small description if you wish. Altitude and GPS coordinates are taken automatically from your mobile phone. Don’t worry if you don’t have internet connection or if you are abroad, routes will be updated later when you get back.
You can also save routes in your phone and make them available offline – just add them to favourites on your phone. All new routes will be carefully checked and only proper and valuable routes will be accepted, so if your route is not automatically on the server don’t worry probably automatic adding is switched off, if they are ok (proper and valuable) they will be added later on. When you update route to our servers, route will be also posted on the climbos Facebook wall, so you can see all new routes directly on your Facebook wall. You just need to click: I like - to get it works.
